How Music City Pug Rescue Began...
Volunteer Coordinator: Carla Antonelli Adoption Coordinator: Tiffany Brown Foster Coordinator: Stachia Graham Home Visit Coordinator: Loren Tilson
Five years ago Finbarr The Irish Pug (my boy) wanted to seek out others like himself so he asked me for help. At Dog Day In The Park, I handed out cards to pug owners that I saw and told them we were going to have a Pug Picnic...A Pugnic!
Board of Directors
PRESIDENT: Rita Hogan SECRETARY: Peg Harrington TREASURER: Stephanie Shirley-Brown
One of the cards I gave away was to a woman named Stephanie Shirley-Brown. She helped me put together the picnic and find a location for it. When the date came, we were expecting 50 people but instead 300 showed up! Wow. On that Monday after Pugnic, we began receiving calls to help pugs in different situations....a year later we applied for 501c3 status and the rest is history! Here we are and we have rescued and adopted out over 250 pugs!
